CLUB MEMBERS AT THE CLUB RELAY COMPETITION
We are an active and friendly club that meets regularly for training and we have over 100 members, who compete at all levels of the sport, from beginners to GB team members. As well as regular training session, the club organises social events which are a great way to get to know the other members.
Our membership includes a team of over 20 BTF qualified coaches which enables us to provide coaching suitable for all abilities. You can find out more about our coaches and coaching philosophy in the training section and in the club brochure.
Each year we organise an annual Off-Road Sprint Triathlon event based at the Cheltenham Leisure Centre which is always very popular and is a great introduction to Triathlon for adults and juniors – See Tri In The Park for more details
At the end of the triathlon season we have an annual club team relay competition and barbeque at Lake 32 which has proved to be very popular.
We run regular swim training sessions throughout the year, outdoors in the Sandford Parks Lido during the summer and indoors at Cheltenham Recreation Centre in the winter.
Sessions are run by coaches – Summer sessions concentrate on speed and endurance building, and winter sessions focus on technique.
These take place most Sunday mornings and range from sportive style rides to hill training and endurance sessions.
Additionally many club members compete in a number of cycling events like the time trials organised by Cheltenham and County Cycling Club, and every year we organise trips to the Newport Velodrome
Throughout the year the club meets at the Prince of Wales Stadium on a Wednesday evening (7-8pm) for a track session. The sessions are suitable for all abilities.

Note: We have had to temporarily cap our membership at the current level due to being at maximum capacity with our swim sessions. We hope to re-open the club to new members sometime next year
